This project allows for a new build 2no storey single family detached house, which included 4no bedrooms, with open plan kitchen/living/dining area, 4no bathrooms/WCs, a utility space and a home office space, as well as a garage. The project is located in the heart of Epping Forest, on the north east edge of London.

Both the house and the garage are to be formed from shipping containers. 6no 40 foot containers for the house, and 2no 20 foot containers for the garage. The containers would then be concealed behind 2no types of vertical timber cladding (natural finished Siberian Larch timber cladding and charred Siberian Larch timber cladding), which would allow the dwelling to sit comfortably in its wooded setting.

The project is currently at concept design stage, with works expected to start on site by mid next year.
